Ksenia Parkhatskaya
Creator & Performer
Ksenia Parkhatskaya is an award-winning dance artist, choreographer, singer, and performer known worldwide for her distinctive voice in jazz dance and theatrical performance. Known today for her mastery of solo jazz styles, she has been dubbed the “Jazz Age Dance Maestro” by LA Magazine and “a contemporary jazz sensation who sees no limitations” by Hong Kong Magazine. Ksenia has performed and taught in over 35 countries, collaborating with renowned ensembles such as the Christian McBride Trio (US), Postmodern Jukebox (US) and the Paris Opera Orchestra (FR). As a choreographer, she is celebrated for her cinematic approach, often creating dance films that have received international recognition.
At times serious and philosophical, at others absurd and humorous, her work takes many forms but always returns to the same core themes: spirituality, identity, and humanity.
David Duffy
Music supervision & sound design
David Duffy is an Irish composer, bassist, and multidisciplinary artist creating work across jazz, electronics, theatre, and film. As co-founder of Jazzville Productions, he blends original music, immersive soundscapes, and striking visual storytelling into projects that move between intimate expression and expansive cinematic experiences.
His debut album "Where the Branches Begin” was described by BBC Music Magazine as “thoroughly captivating” and praised by Jamie Cullum as “brilliant and fascinating music.” David has composed for theatre, contemporary dance, circus, and film, with his music performed at festivals including Cork Jazz, Dublin Fringe, SONAR, and Cork Film Festival, and broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1, BBC, and Jazz FM.
Through Jazzville, David continues to explore the meeting point between sound, movement, and image now focusing on creating immersive live spectacles where music becomes a bridge between emotion, story, and audience.
